KOBO opened the laboratory because of its conviction that technology and quality would earn recognition from its customers. Working closely with the world’s leading chemical company BASF®, Dow Corning® and KAO®, KOBO is able to obtain the forefront ingredients and latest innovation in the first time. Also, beginning in 2004, KOBO sent researchers every year to advanced countries such as Germany, Italylearn from their latest technologies. The researchers from KOBO R&D Center strive to help customers realize hair beauty with the outstanding technologies and hair science.

In 2013, KOBO started a strategic partnership with Argentina Primont Cosmetics. With the frequent researchers exchange program and cross continental cooperation, KOBO believe it can better serve the customers from different countries with different requirements.
